DEATH

Death is something that has a million ideas surrounding it, so taking specific elements for this dress was quite hard to decide. I really love media containing a skeleton figure with a scythe, something that is the embodiment of what people are afraid of so I used it as my main inspiration.
CONQUEST
──── ୨୧ ────
When I think of conquest, I remembered the past in which many powerful empires would take over others for power. With this I wanted to show power through gold and expensive fur, with blood at the bottom of the dress to show the people killed for position.
WAR
──── ୨୧ ────
War is needless death and massacres being excused in the name of being correct. The mountains of corpses caused by war are something that are slowly forgotten due to time and money, but will always be a reoccurring topic in history.
FAMINE

Tight skinned and starving is a situation many unfortunately find themselves in. Thousands upon thousands die due to hunger and lack of resources every year and throughout history which I wanted to show through my dress, expressing the topic through bone and skin.
